Upstarts only uses all valve guitar gear,from Mesa Boogie ,Orange,Marshall & Fender.The Fender Twin is our only combo.Everything else is half stacks.Drumkits by Premier,Tama and Mapex.Bass stacks by Ashdown and Peavey,Speakers by ElectroVoice.
Upstarts is owned & run by local gigging musicians.Free car parking facilities available.
Fed up with not getting a rehearsal at the time you want?
Here's what you do to get a room at peak times
If you are told there are no rehearsals rooms available at the time you need, ask for our cancellation room. If a band cancels,then we will simply move you into the newly available rehearsal room,and you will be charged the standard rate.If there are no cancellations,then you stay in the cancellation room and we will charge you just £5 per hour!....Be warned, by Upstarts high standards,this is a small room [14 x 12 feet], but, for a fiver,..who's complaining!
No band? Sitting in the house, fed up? Get on the phone and ask if we have a room available! Solo practice £4 per hour,Duo's £7 per hour. You can not book this service more than one hour in advance.
21 or under? Student or unemployed ?
Then get Sunday rehearsals Half Price !
If you and your band are 21 or under,unemployed, or full time students you can hire any rehearsal room for half the normal rate ..Simply bring up proof of status at each rehearsal and that's you set!
